短期受入プログラム

We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting student nominations for the “Intensive Study Program for FY2025, Inter-island Sustainability Educational Program in OKINAWA, JAPAN”. 

1. Cost of Participation

(1) The University of the Ryukyus will cover and pay for the following expenses.
 (A) Round-trip airfare from the location of your university to Okinawa Prefecture 
　　The University of the Ryukyus will book and pay for the airfare. E-tickets will be sent before the trip. 
 (B) Transportation within Okinawa Prefecture
　　Transportation from participants’ accommodation to the University campus for your participation in the program. 

(2) Participants will be responsible for and pay the following expenses.
 (A) Accommodation expenses for lodging arranged by the University of the Ryukyus
   *The maximum amount to be borne by the participant is 100,000 yen, and the University of the Ryukyus will bear any excess over 
     100,000 yen.
   *Breakfast is not included in the accommodation plan.
 (B) Passport application and renewal fees 
 (C) Travel expenses by cab, bus, etc., from home in their home country to the nearest airport
 (D) Expenses for food and beverages in Okinawa 
 (E) Fees for personal purchases, including souvenirs

2. JASSO Scholarship

Participants are eligible for JASSO scholarships as follows.
(1) Participating students will receive a one-time scholarship of 80,000 yen from the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO).
(2) To receive the scholarship, students must submit a report (two-page A4 size form) to JASSO after the program. 

3．How to nominate your students to the Program

(1) Use the attached Guideline and Application Form
(2) Your students fill out the application form
(3) Select TWO nominees and rank them in order of the first and the second place
Send us the Applications, the Certificates of Enrollment from your university, and the photocopies of the passport page with a photo to “r-sekaten@acs.u-ryukyu.ac.jp” from you or your office member.
