Following its launch at the International Symposium on November 4, 2024, Ryudai Pantry Nuchi Maaru held its second activity on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Once again, generous donations of food, clothing, books, and household items were collected and distributed to students in need.

Feedback from recipients included heartfelt messages such as, “This has reduced my financial burden” and “It has been such a great help.” These responses highlight the importance of mutual support among students. Participants in the activity also noted the growing community involvement: “It was impressive to see more people donating” and “It’s wonderful to see support coming from a variety of individuals”—this really shows how the circle of support is expanding.

Faculty and students who stopped by Nuchi Maaru shared encouraging messages like, “We truly support this initiative.” Such words affirm the positive impact of the program and underscore its role in creating an environment where students can focus on their studies with peace of mind.

Nuchi Maaru plans to continue its activities, fostering a supportive and sustainable community. We warmly invite ongoing support and contributions from students, faculty, and staff at the University of the Ryukyus.
